Plug plants

I've called into a nursery that does plug plants at 75p this is £7.50 worth ready to pot on.
There a few herbs a couple of perenials and a several types of lavender.

Aprill 2011

We made a cracking start and taken on an adjacent half plot and are already running out of space. Salad is now ample including spinach, radish, lettuce, and rocket.
We've got flower along the borders,l courgettes and pumpkin are in the grounds. Chillies, coriander and basil have been potted on and the tomatoes will soon be ready for potting on into a small dedicated greenhouse.

Thank god for the rain!

2010 gone.

2010 got off to a good start but due to work and health issues not much got done at the back end of the year.
Off to a flying start this year thanks to lots of hard work and some good weather. We've also had an extension...

No more space

The last of the space was used today. 3/4 of a bed of leeks went in and a few rocket seedlings.

We are now starting to crop cabbage, lettuce and herbs. The fruit is all setting.
Time to start on the fruit cage.

 




Managed to get the last bed cultivated this weekend.
Also cropped the first cabbage.

Onion and Garlic

 




The oninons and Garlic we put in last year are doing well. They've been fleeced up over the wortst of the weather. We've removed it so the weeds can be managed.
The rest of the plot has had a good clean up.
